The new episode of “2018 Sing! China,” to be aired on Zhejiang Satellite TV on August 31, will see creative interpretations of many classic pop songs.
The contestants, most of whom are grassroots singers, will cooperate with their mentors, including Hong Kong pop singer and actor Nicholas Tse, Chinese mainland ballad singer Li Jian, and Taiwan star Harlem Yu, to present new remixes of pop hits.
Su Han, a student from Tsinghua University, will perform a new rap version of the romantic song “Love of the Millennium.”
Contestants will also perform Faye Wong’s “Goodbye Firefly” using beatbox elements.
