“Me and My Country,” a new creative program showcasing China’s development and social changes, is aired weekly on iQiyi.

The show features 18 short videos which are shot from the perspectives of young people.

Based on the stories and information from the videos, celebrities from all walks of life exchange their ideas on diverse topics, including aviation, the military, education, food, architecture and art.

The country’s remarkable achievements in infrastructure, science and culture will be introduced, targeting the young viewers.

The variety show has also released its MV, which gathers around 100 stars to give their best wishes to the country.

According to producer Sun Xiaodong, it is a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

The short videos tell the stories of ordinary young people. These include experiences of combining traditional dough figurine making with fashion as well as traveling around many different bridges in Chongqing, a city of bridges.

Videographers visited and interviewed people who witnessed the fast development of the country and documented their stories in different ways, including animation, theater and flash mob.

The fast paced ad lib show is screened every Saturday at 8pm.
