A visitor snaps an oil painting called “Ting Ting” by artist Zhang Qing at the Shanghai Art Fair 2017 yesterday at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center in the Pudong New Area. The fair runs until Sunday. It was established in 1997 and is described as one of the largest and oldest events of its kind in Asia. This year, some 140 galleries from 16 countries attended, with thousands of Chinese paintings, sculpture, videos, installations, ceramics and other artworks displayed.
