'Import expo tickets resale' a scam: police

There are no entrance tickets available for the coming China International Import Expo, and those who are selling such tickets online are fraudsters, Shanghai police warned on Friday.

Police said they have noticed such information on the Internet and started their investigation.

All visitors to the expo, including buyers and members of the general public, had their names registered with the police, and the registration has already closed, police said.

Visitors can enter the expo with their passes and their identity will be checked at the entrance.

Police warn that those who are found to use other people’s pass to enter the site will be punished.
