Taizhou delegation seeks investment and cooperation

A delegation from Taizhou City of Zhejiang Province is in Shanghai to carry out a weeklong campaign to attract investment from, and cooperation with, domestic and overseas enterprises.

The "2018 Shanghai - Taizhou Week" event was launched over the weekend — 22 investment projects were signed at the opening ceremony worth a total of 23.06 billion yuan (US$3.34 billion).

Financial cooperation and exchange activities, health care activities, high-level talent seminars, tourism project investment and market promotion meetings, and scientific and technological achievement exchange meetings were also scheduled for the weeklong event, among others.

Chen Yijun, Party secretary of Taizhou, said at the opening ceremony that Taizhou, a coastal city in the middle of Zhejiang, will seize the opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative and the integrated development strategy of Yangtze River Delta to achieve its own further development.
