CPC anniversary celebrated in song
All together now! Students and citizens hold high the national flag.
Pop and opera singers joined students and workers in red T-shirts in a mass rendition of the classic song "My Country and I" at the HKRI Taikoo Hui mall and the Memorial Hall of the Second Congress of the Communist Party of China in Jing’an District to celebrate today's 98th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.

Local pop singer Huo Zun joined the mob at the mall along with Ren Guizhen and Zhen Chen from the Shanghai Opera House. Soprano Huang Ying and baritone Zhang Feng joined the show as well.

Meanwhile, the same stirring melody was performed at the Memorial Hall of the Second Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Passers-by and onlookers joined in the chorus as those wearing red T-shirts gathered together to form a huge national flag.
