Shanghai presented three archaeological tour routes through the Yangtze River Delta Region on Friday.
The routes will help people to get close to archaeological sites with professional guidance, the Shanghai Administration of Culture and Tourism said.
The routes will take tourists to sites such as the Guangfulin Relics Park in Songjiang District, the Songze archaeological site in suburban Qingpu District, and Hemudu Neolithic site in eastern Zhejiang Province.
About 300 tourists embarked on journeys along the routes from Guangfulin on Friday. Gao Menghe, a professor at Fudan University, gave a talk beforehand.
