A WeChat mini program offering guidance on diagnosis and treatment on breast cancer for grassroots doctors was launched in an International Breast Cancer Forum in the city.

The program promotes the latest guideline on breast cancer treatment and practice in grassroots hospitals.

“About 8,000 professionals will use the mini program, which covers diagnosis, surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, medication, rehabilitation, nutrition and exercises, at-home care, psychological support,” said Dr Shao Zhimin from Shanghai Cancer Center. “Regular diagnosis and treatment is the key for treatment and patient survival. The mini program can help doctors, especially those in remote regions.”
