Firefighting drill in Jinshan industrial park
Jinshan District carried out a firefighting drill in an industrial park on Friday.
The drill simulated leakage of dangerous chemicals in a factory caused by damage to a pipe flange.
According to the firefighters, the chemical was mixture containing ethylene glycol which is highly explosive once vaporized and mixed with air.
The factory was quickly evacuated.
The fire spread fast because of the wind. Firefighters used ejectors to fire high-expansion foam to cover the chemical up and put the fire out.

The drill used five portable water cannons, four vehicle-mounted water cannons and three firefighting robots.
