A "new energy" kart racing park in Jiading District has been upgraded to enrich the experiences of tourists and sports fans. It now features a blend of environmental protection, sports and science, and technology.
Electric Formula Park at Jiading Anting Motor City, which features customized electric automobiles, has introduced unmanned aerial vehicle competitions and eSports to boost the travel experience, lift the motor city's upgrade from traditional auto industry, and diversify visitor experiences, its operator said over the weekend.
The unmanned aerial vehicle race uses FPV (First Person View) glasses to amaze racers, while the unmanned aerial vehicle battle resembles a Quidditch match.
The virtual speedway in the simulation racing eSports will provide the same thrill experience as real racing.

The park has two tracks catering to the demand of different levels of car racing fans. Its timing equipment is accurate to a thousandth of a second.
Instead of using a traditional steering wheel, the cars have the type used in Formula 1.
A two-day tourism route of the motor city was released over the weekend, stringing the Electric Formula Park, Shanghai Auto Expo Park, and EV-AI Harbor, the first international pilot zone of electric vehicles of China which showcases the blueprint of future cars.
