Animal Painting
Zhang Dongguang is holding a solo oil painting exhibition about animals. Zhang, a member of the World Conservation Union and a wild animal artist, uses his brushes to transform the gallery into a fun zoo. The artist, known for his meticulous painting style, recreates the animal down to the smallest detail – a spot, a hair and a look of anger or fear.'

A sage and a scholar
Songjiang Museum is hosting an exhibition of ink painting and calligraphy inspired by the life of Songjiang sage and scholar Yang Bangeng. Yang's social life is depicted through 57 works of art, stone seals, old books and letters he and his friends wrote to each other. The exhibition examines how art and academic circles collided in the early 1900s.

Wooden works
The exhibition in a century-old house features a wide range of traditional Chinese architectural wooden parts, such as sign boards, old beams and posts, window frames, and mortise and tenon joints. There are also some old carpentry books on display that explain various building techniques and preservation methods, as well as various wooden materials used in various furniture.
