Pop star Ariana Grande to play Shanghai in August
American pop star and actress Ariana Grande, 24, is bringing her world tour to China for the first time in August. The three stops are Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Grande began her career in 2008 in the Broadway musical “13,” before playing the role of Cat Valentine in the popular Nickelodeon television series "Victorious" for four seasons.
Her first hit single “The Way” shot to No. 1 after just seven hours of release on March 26, 2013. She released her album “Yours Truly” on September 3, 2013, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard chart.
On May 22 this year, 23 died after Grande's concert at Manchester Arena in England as the venue was targeted by a suicide bomber.
