Chinese director Liu Miaomiao and actor Wallace Chung, as well as Singaporean actor Lee Ming-shun, were in town on Monday to promote “Memories of Love,” a sentimental urban romance series which will start airing on Dragon TV tomorrow.

Based on a popular online novel, the series — some of which was shot in Italy — centers around a couple in love who missed each other for 10 years. However, the memories of love didn't fade from their hearts.

It is the first-ever romance attempt of award-winning director Liu, who rose to fame from epic dramas including “Yongzheng Dynasty” and “Vicissitudes’ Course of Uprightness.”

Hong Kong actor Chung developed a large fanbase for his charming performance in the 2015 Cinderella-style romance series “My Sunshine.” This time he plays a film director who is determined to get his love back.

Chung was impressed by the pure love story of the series. He did the most challenging scenes on his own, such as swimming for a long time in chilly winter.
