Famous Chinese filmmaker Huo Jianqi’s latest urban romance “Lost In Love” will hit cinemas across China in May.

The film, based on the work of writer An Dun, tells a love story between a violinist and an interior designer. It stars actor Chen Xiao and model-actress Du Juan.

It took Huo around 10 years to prepare for the film, which he said is not merely a story about love.

“The film is also about relationships,” Huo explained. “Everyone inevitably lives in different kinds of relationships — we benefit from these relationships but we are also trapped by them.”
