Tencent’s v.qq.com announced at a forum during the 2018 CCG Expo that they will produce and air more high-quality Chinese animated works.

Wang Juan, chief editor of v.qq.com, said they will create and broadcast more original content and develop a complete industrial chain for domestic animation.

Over the past year, 27 inspiring animated productions have received over 100 million clicks on Tencent. Among them are “Take My Brother Away” and “The Land of Douluo.”

On July 9, the highly anticipated animated series “Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” will start to air on v.qq.com.

Based on a popular online novel, the series features stunning martial arts and diverse elements of traditional Chinese culture.

Industry insiders noted that China has a huge market for animation. With a large anime fan base, animation will enjoy robust development in the near future.
