TV anchors host poetry salon to celebrate the New Year

Ten TV anchors from SMG News held a special poetry salon on the evening of December 30 to celebrate the New Year.

The anchors recited and sang around 20 well-known poems from literature classics such as “Ulysses” and “Romeo and Juliet.” They also interacted with local audiences.

Ever since 2016, anchors have been dedicated to presenting cultural works and events to the public. Many of their works combine varied artistic styles of literature, music and painting.

They also founded a WeChat public account called “Prick Up Your Ears” to recommend outstanding cultural productions and host regular events including reading salons, theme lectures and workshops.
