'A Universe of Heroes' for Marvel fans
A grand exhibition “A Universe of Heroes,” specially designed for Marvel enthusiasts, is underway at a new mixed-use development in Hongqiao.
Covering an area of 2,400 square meters, the exhibit showcases a lavish collection of artifacts, props and costumes from more than 20 Marvel films.
In addition to the debut of a five-meter Iron Man statue, impressive artifacts of superhero characters, including The Avengers, Thor, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel and Hulk are also on display for Marvel lovers.
Several familiar sets from the movie franchises have been recreated for visitors in the interactive games, with visually stunning computer displays and nostalgic film clips.
There are special zones of doodling and snapshots, while Marvel blockbuster movie theme posters are exhibited to provide visitors with an insight into the history and development of Marvel Studios.
Over the passing years, almost every Marvel film has been a worldwide box office sensation and a new generation of children have grown up with stories of the franchise’s superheroes.
This year China has been a focus for several Marvel releases, including “Captain Marvel,” “Avengers: Endgame,” “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home.” All have proved to be successful at the box office.
