The Foryou flower shop in Jiading’s Liucheng Xintiandi was established by a post-90s young man to realize his mother’s dream.

Flowers often remind people of happy moments and help people find the beauty in daily life. People walking by are usually attracted by decorations outside Foryou such as lovely dolls and delicate flower bunches.

A cafe decorated with dried flowers is established on the second floor, offering customers the opportunity to drink tea, read books and share thoughts with their friends.

Every weekend, people can participate in the DIY activities in Foryou to learn flower arrangement and candleholder making and make friends with like-minded people.

“The shop can give me power and inner peace when I was in bad mood,” a customer wrote on the shop’s message board.

Owner Lei Yinuo, now a student at the University of Columbia in the United States, was an exchange student at a US high school and later studied hotel management at the Ecole Hoteliere De Lausanne in Switzerland and at a hot spring hotel in Japan.

Different cultural experiences enhanced his sensitivity to beauty and his designs often mix amorous feelings from around the world.

Foryou is a romantic and cozy shop where love stories take place. “I’m giving you a rose for free. You can’t meet your girlfriend with empty hands,” said clerk Zhang Qian to Wang Shifu.

Wang’s girlfriend works in a restaurant in Liucheng Xintiandi. Every week, Wang travels by bus from Lianyungang city in east China’s Jiangsu Province to take her to dinner.
