Li invites SABIC to attend the upcoming China International Import Expo in Shanghai

Li said President Xi Jinping’s speech at the Boao Forum for Asia drew a new roadmap for China’s further expansion of its opening-up and reform policy. Also, the development of a country or a region is closely related to their engagement in globalization and cooperation with the rest of the world.

As China’s economic center, Shanghai will unfalteringly deepen the reforms and build a more open business environment. SABIC is one of the leading petrochemical companies in the world and it has achieved great results in China’s market. The city welcomes SABIC to participate in the upcoming China International Import Expo in November to deepen the cooperation and share business opportunities with China.

Aljarbou said SABIC values the friendly relationship with China, and it hopes to expand the cooperation with China. SABIC is drawn to Shanghai’s good business environment and openness, and it will increase investment in the city and expand its businesses. Also, SABIC would like to participate in the upcoming CIIE.

Xu Kunlin, vice-mayor of Shanghai, also attended the meeting.
