Operating a hair salon and wig shop opposite the Shanghai Cancer Center of Fudan University, Qin Kang has heard many stories over the years.
Most of his customers are cancer patients who have suffered hair loss from chemotherapy.
Qin feels it’s important to keep running the shop, even though it’s often a challenge because of the emotions involved. He says it requires good control of one’s own feelings.
His business has grown three-fold in the past four years, partly because of the help and comfort he offers his clients through a very tough time.
