Lujiazui in the Pudong New Area was the venue for the city's latest flash mob.
Residents and tourists took part in a flash mob and sang the classic "My Country and I" on the circular pedestrian bridge in Lujiazui in the Pudong New Area.
World famous pianist Lang Lang provided the accompaniment.
Performers included Xu Min and Shi Jinglan, deputies to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Shanghai Light Music Orchestra lead singers Luo Yu and Gao Shan, world boxing champion Zou Shiming and his family, and representatives from the chip, aerospace, medicine, automobile, AI and information industries.
Twelve screens in front of the Oriental Pearl Tower displayed celebratory messages.
