The Red Cross Society of China’s Shanghai branch has received over 21 million yuan (US$3 million) in donations amid the current coronavirus outbreak.

The organization has opened a special account for coronavirus-related donations and started to publicize details about these donations on its website and public WeChat account. Items donated to Wuhan, the epicenter of the epidemic, will be sent to the Wuhan Red Cross in time.

People, companies and organizations can find information about donations through the website www.redcross-sha.org and the public WeChat account of Shanghai Red Cross.
