Ten medical reform projects have been recognized for their innovation, results and support for novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control, the Shanghai Health Commission said on Saturday.

Among the ten winners was a community-based fever clinic and operation project. It was recognized by the national health authority, and set a standard for nationwide grassroots fever clinics.

Some 200 neighborhood health centers were set up within two weeks for grassroots coronavirus screening and checking.

A health code to follow people’s whereabouts for epidemic prevention and control was also honored for risk identification and progress to the resumption of commercial activities.

Other projects such as a myopia screening for local students conducted by the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of Fudan University, AI-supported out-patient service platform conducted by Shanghai Children’s Medial Center and Cloud-based TCM service system launched by the Huangpu District Health Commission were all honored.
