Wuyi County unveils holiday tourist routes

Wuyi County, in neighboring Zhejiang Province, has prepared for the upcoming National Day holiday with new autumn tourist routes released and the reopening of tourist attractions.
The four routes will take visitors to explore the autumn splendor and hues of the county in Jinhua City, its cultural and tourism authorities said in Shanghai ahead of the holiday.
A route designed for shutterbugs to capture the autumn landscape of the county includes Baige Village known for its Chinese yew forest and Yuyuan Village where there is a lush forest.
A health tourist route will take visitors to appreciate autumn leaves and relax at hot springs by connecting Qianzhang Rock scenic area, Tangfeng hot spring and Niutou Mountain.
As a highlight of the route for children, the Flower Town will reopen for the holiday.
Autumn is the most beautiful season of the Flower Town in Wuyi as it features a verbena field, a sea of hairawn muhly, and a variety of flowers such as sunflower and calliopsis, and a new rose garden.
People are invited to explore the town via cycling or take a train ride amid the flower sea.
During the holiday, a bazaar featuring flowers, handicrafts, authentic Wuyi delicacies and intangible cultural heritages will be held at the Flower Town.
