A rock night to fall out with the boys
American rock band Fall Out Boy will come to Shanghai as part of their world tour with their new album “MANIA.”
Formed in 2001 in Chicago, Fall Out Boy consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wents, lead guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley.
Before Hurley joined, the band had an underground success with the album “Take This to Your Grave.”
The album has commonly been cited as an influential blueprint for pop punk music in the 2000s.
With seven albums, the band has also had several platinum singles, including “Sugar We’re Going Down,” “Dance, Dance,” “I Don’t Care” and “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up).”
Their catchy songs like “Centuries” and “Immortals” will also be presented on their live show.
Through 17 years, Fall Out Boy has received numerous awards including five Teen Choice Awards, five Kerrang Awards, one People’s Choice Awards and one World Music Award. Last year, the band received the first Rock Sound Hall of Fame Award.
