China's fastest high-speed train will be used to deliver goods for e-commerce during the Singles Day shopping spree this year.
China Railway started a Singles Day delivery service last year in an attempt to further develop the railway network.
This year, the Fuxing bullet train on the Shanghai-Beijing line, which has a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour, will for the first time be a part of the service, providing “top speed delivery,” which guarantees that goods will reach consumers within 10 hours.
Singles Day is on November 11, with goods being sent out for several days after.
