A light show was staged along the Huangpu River on Monday night to celebrate the 70-year anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
The show, lasting four minutes and 30 seconds, displayed the results of development over the past 70 years and Shanghai's festive atmosphere, expressing Shanghai people's best wishes for the anniversary.
The landscape lights in the Bund, Lujiazui and North Bund were illuminated with videos featuring China's national flag and fireworks screened, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The background music also allowed audiences to experience the splendor of the show.
